If you reset to factory settings, your device data will be deleted permanently. And you are unable to recover lost data from iOS device anymore. But if you have iTunes or iCloud backup, you can recover lost data from backups.

Meanwhile, recovery process is a complex process. Thus, it is hard to guarantee that all data can be recovered. I highly recommend you to give the trial version a try before puchasing it.
