Let me explain my problem:
- I have installed AnyTrans software (trial version) on my Windows 10 PC (not Mac).
- I have not installed the app on my iPhone XS (I don’t think this is necessary).
- My photos are on my iPhone.
- I don’t use iCloud storage.
- I connect my iPhone XS to my PC using an official Apple USB/lightning cable.
- I open AnyTrans on my PC.
- I go, to the “Device Manager” section, then in the “Photos” section.
- I see all the photos that are on my iPhone.
- I select the photos I want to transfer to my PC, I choose “JPG” format, then I transfer them. (I don’t want HEIC format)
- The photos are transferred to my PC, very quickly.
- PROBLEM: after the transfer, I look at the photos sizes (file sizes) on my PC. The transferred photos are much larger (around 13-14 MB) instead of the original sizes of the photos (around 4-5MB).
- QUESTION: I would like the transferred JPG photos to have the same size as the original photos. How do I do that?
